This was an easy bottle to finish, showing lots of the bourbon candies you'd expect (caramel, vanilla) from the source materials. Mild honey and shortbread mid-palate. It could stand a bit more character IMO but there's no harm in putting a bottle of this on the bar.
A couple of times a year my wife and I splurge on a high-end scotch. We've tried everything we can afford in the Dalmore line, including their 18 year, and we think the 15 year is far and away the best. It's mellow and buttery; just an exquisite experience. For the money, you can't beat the Dalmore 15.
