Redemption Rye 10 Year Barrel Proof

A beautiful amber color with a nose of spicy promise. I smelled molasses and spice, but I'm not so sophisticated that I can identify light smells, but a heady vanilla was one of them for sure. As for taste, it was heaven. Smooth, flavorful with that distinguished rye flavor that is so enjoyable to the palate. Served at 80 degrees, I mistook it for aged Whistle Pig, if I may be allowed to say so. This is one of my top shelf ryes.
