Longrow Peated

i am a big fan of peaty whisky and this did not disappoint. not a monster, but plenty of that peaty punch along with a soft, sweet side to balance it out very well. notes of citrus and pear blend well with the smoke and medicinal tones of this dram. spices and white pepper appear, but again, not heavy handed at all. complex and strong without giving up the sweeter, friendlier aspects. not a beginner pour, but a seasoned scotch fan will be very happy with this one.
