This one has a slightly fruity, somewhat cookie-ish nose, with toasty, bready, nutty, caramel malt notes on the mid-palate. It has a great, complex flavor profile and still stays rather mild-mannered. You could drink this one regularly without ever getting bored, nor overwhelmed.
A couple of times a year my wife and I splurge on a high-end scotch. We've tried everything we can afford in the Dalmore line, including their 18 year, and we think the 15 year is far and away the best. It's mellow and buttery; just an exquisite experience. For the money, you can't beat the Dalmore 15.
