This one didn't land hard with me as showing any one particular profile or another. No flaws, not even any hot spots, but fairly indistinct in character--some caramel and toast, always enjoyable in the glass.
A couple of times a year my wife and I splurge on a high-end scotch. We've tried everything we can afford in the Dalmore line, including their 18 year, and we think the 15 year is far and away the best. It's mellow and buttery; just an exquisite experience. For the money, you can't beat the Dalmore 15.
