Ingredients: E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon is crafted from premium ingredients, including:
- Grains: A blend of corn, rye, and malted barley forms the bourbon's mash bill, contributing to its balanced and complex flavor profile.
Distillation and Aging: The production process of E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon follows a precise method:
Milling and Mashing: The grains are finely milled, and the resulting grist is mashed to create a sugary liquid known as wort. This wort is fermented to produce a low-alcohol wash.
Fermentation: The wash is transferred to fermentation tanks, where chosen yeast strains initiate fermentation. This process typically lasts several days, allowing yeast to convert sugars into alcohol and develop key flavor compounds.
Distillation: The fermented wash undergoes double distillation in traditional copper pot stills or column stills, capturing the unique essence of the bourbon. The resulting new make spirit is carefully collected and assessed for quality.
Aging: E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon is aged in new, charred American white oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years. The aging process allows the bourbon to mature and develop its signature flavor profile.
Tasting Notes: E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon offers a balanced and flavorful tasting experience. Tasting notes may include:
Appearance: The bourbon exhibits a deep amber color, reflecting its aging in oak barrels.
Aroma: The nose is greeted with inviting aromas of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, complemented by notes of dried fruit, baking spices, and a subtle hint of leather.
Palate: On the palate, expect a harmonious blend of flavors. Sweet corn, honey, and toffee meld with hints of cinnamon, black pepper, and a touch of dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and well-rounded.
Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of oak, caramelized sugar, and a gentle spiciness, showcasing the bourbon's depth and complexity.
Packaging: E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon is typically presented in an elegant bottle and labeling, reflecting its premium quality and the legacy of the E.H. Taylor Jr. brand.

Fantastic! Currently the best bourbon i've ever had.
Good as expected, always a solid bottle. Highly recommend
best bourbon for the money
Thank you 3rd base!!
Much like everything these days, I overpaid for bourbon that should cost $50. But what are you gonna do? If you want something then Third Base is solid and probably most competitive online. Overpaid for this, Eagle Rare, and McKenna 10. Underpaid for Buffalo Trace. Add shipping and hey it's a hobby not a value proposition.
