It's a light-colored, light-bodied whiskey with apples, toffee, sugar cookies, and vanilla on both the nose and the palate. A couple of times a year my wife and I splurge on a high-end scotch. We've tried everything we can afford in the Dalmore line, including their 18 year, and we think the 15 year is far and away the best. It's mellow and buttery; just an exquisite experience. For the money, you can't beat the Dalmore 15.
