Every sip here in the U.S. takes me back to a shaded terrace on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. It's a wonderfully complex combo of bitter/herbal/sweet (yes) flavors and while it's AMAZING by itself on the rocks with a bit of orange peel, it's also the critical ingredient in MANY great cocktails. Gin, Rye, Tequila, Rum - they all step up to the task. You can't go wrong with Campari and it needs to be in your bar - period.
