I enjoy the Bunnahabhain bottlings I've tried, as with most Islay whiskies (my favorite region). This is not an especially forceful whisky by Islay standards, with smoke and phenols on the milder side. Easy to enjoy for an Islay fan, though it tastes like it has training wheels compared to the smoke bombs some of us know and love. It might be a good first Islay for a new drinker to try, and some might find it oddly situated in between the bigger flavors from Islay and the milder bottles from the mainland. I'd buy repeat bottles now and again.
