Light one in flavor, aroma, and color. Bit of honey and cream notes on top, mild light body, there's the cream again on the palate, bit of vanilla as well. Seems like a good solid base for a more-interesting whiskey somewhere down the line.
A couple of times a year my wife and I splurge on a high-end scotch. We've tried everything we can afford in the Dalmore line, including their 18 year, and we think the 15 year is far and away the best. It's mellow and buttery; just an exquisite experience. For the money, you can't beat the Dalmore 15.
