Easily worth a one-time bottle purchase, probably worth repeats as well, even at the price. Big fruity caramel nose, not sharp or cloying but far enough to the sweet side that it won't suit every mood. Starts fruity, caramelly sweet, and stays that way, though with growing dessert spices and alcohol warmth. Continually interesting. Long warm sweet finish.

Heard great reviews about this whiskey. I tend to love cask strength, so I was glad I paid a few dollars more for this over the regular 12 year. What an amazing whiskey. A 12 year cask strength whiskey for a good price? No wonder it tends to sell out quick!
