This one pours a clear oily fill. Sipped. Big tangy agave nose, pleasant, really reminds you you're drinking something made from mashed and fermented plant stalks rather than grains. Smells almost vegetal or clorophyllic. Light toasty oak notes and subtle spices show up on the palate, but the central showpiece is for sure again the big blast of tangy cactus mash. No, we don't all know exactly what that tastes like unless we hit Mexican restaurants or mercados and cook some nopales, and this isn't the exact same flavor, but it's kinda like 90% bell pepper and 10% mild green apple (that's a bad analogy but here we are). For the price this is an easy repeater but it's not a show-stopped without more complexity.
