Starts out fruity sweet on the nose, with caramel, raisins, and maple syrup. Floral and spicy notes in the background. Medium body, sweet notes hit first. Fruits and floral bits, followed by more and more baking spices and hints of toasty oak. Wonderfully complex and rewarding. Great whiskey.

Love this stuff. Ryes can be very good at younger ages than bourbon so don't let the 4 year age statement put you off. This is my second bottle and it is very minty but not with that grassy herbaceous note some ryes have which I find off putting. Nice long finish and plenty of spice. Really like the proof point on these at right around 110. Can be hard to find so grab it when you can.
