No other country's distilling industry has surprised me more than India's lately. A few years ago I knew nothing of Taiwanese distilling, a few weeks ago I knew nothing of Indian distilling. This one is a tasty, lightly sweet, light-bodied whiskey, made well, but aiming only for modest goals. It's neither bold nor complex, despite its high quality overall. At this price I probably wouldn't repeat an entire bottle but I'm happy my curiosity led me to try it--I'd certainly be delighted with another dram.
